Why Remote Support?
This site is to help you to help yourself, but sometimes its just
good sense to call someone in to look at a problem or an issue you may
be having with QuickBooks.
How Much Does It Cost
I hate having to wade through pages and pages to get to the bottom line too,
so lets cut to the chase.
Timing commences when I am connected to your computer and we
are ready to start, so downloading the software and our initial conversation is
"off the clock"
As long as you have an internet connection, remote support allows me
to log onto your computer, and either guide you through a procedure, or
if appropriate, directly operate the computer itself. In addition
to the computer side, I also talk to you via phone or skype. I can
see your screen, and we can both focus on the issue at hand. It's
a far superior method than telephone alone.
Is it Secure?
The method I use to log into your computer is controlled by a
password protected, encrypted link. In addition, you control
whether I can control the computer, or just view the screen. Once
you close the remote control session, I have no further access to your
computer, unless, or course, you invite me back
What do I need to do to get organised.
It's easy. Download the required software from
www.showmypc.com . You can download
the software from this site - look for "Show my PC to Remote User v3055" or
click here to start
downloading. Save the file to your desktop so you can find it later.
You will then need to either phone me on 0409 317366 or 03 58317366 , or
email me (click here) to make an appointment at a time that suits us both. I'm not 9 to 5, so
nighttimes and weekends can be arranged if they suit us both.
Payment will need to confirmed before the appointment. If you pay via
PayPal, notification to me is almost immediate. I can also arrange payment
by direct debit although this takes 1 to 2 business days to clear.
What if its a simple problem that takes me a minute?
If it's really that easy, I'd probably just tell you what needs to happen and
not charge at all. If I finish before the 20 mins, I am happy to talk to
you about anything, or just look through your file setup and give you some
pointers.
What if it's really complex?
I'll probably refer you to a Reckon Accredited Consultant in your area.
I will brief the Consultant for you if you wish, or email you a synopsis of my
findings so you don't have to explain the whole issue again.
